My guest today is Sherly Sulaiman, who is a certified clinical hypnotherapist, NLP (Neuro–Linguistic Programming) master practitioner, mindfulness coach and meditation teacher. She has twenty years of experience in the health and well-being industry. She founded The Depression Relief Clinic and Inner City Hypnosis in Sydney, Australia as well as New Stress Relief, her private practice in Santa Monica, California.

 Sherly uses a combination of Hypnosis and NLP to help people beat chronic stress. We have not talked about hypnosis or NLP on the show before, and I believe these are powerful healing modalities that can directly beneficially bring about positive changes to our thoughts and beliefs.

As we know, beliefs are the foundational elements in how we view the world. Changing our beliefs can have huge changes in how we ascrive meaning to events in our life, and therefore the quality of our life.
